The Basics
Played with the double-six set: 28 tiles. Four players in two teams of two — your partner (socio) sits across from you. Each player gets 7 tiles.
- The first hand is opened by whoever holds the double six
- In later hands, the winner of the previous hand opens — the salida is an advantage.
- Turns go counterclockwise.
Your Turn
- Tap a tile in your hand to play it. It must match one of the two open ends of the chain.
- If the tile fits both ends, press and hold it and drag it to the side where you want to play it.
- Drag tiles in your hand to reorder them, even while waiting for your turn.
- If you have no playable tile, the PASS button appears. A pass is information — your partner and rivals take note.
How a Hand Ends
- Dominada: a player places their last tile. Their team wins the hand.
- Tranque (locked table): nobody can play. The tiles of the player who locked the game and the next player are compared; the team with the fewest points wins.
Scoring
The team that wins the hand collects all remaining points from all four players. Games are played to 200 or 500 points, depending on the table rules.
Bonuses (House Rules)
The table creator configures bonuses in the lobby. Guests inherit the rules automatically.

Table Vocabulary
Trancado keeps the authentic Dominican terms in both languages:

| Zapatera | The game ends and a team never scores a single point. |
| Salida | The first tile of the hand. |
| Paso | No playable tile — you must pass. |
| Tranque / Trancado | The table locks: nobody can play. That's where the app gets its name. |
| Dominada | Winning by playing your last tile. |
| Capicúa | Winning with a tile that fits both ends. |
| Chucha | The double blank (0-0). |
| Barajar | Shuffling or reordering the tiles. |
| Mano | A round of play, or the full game (used interchangeably). |
| Socio | Your teammate, seated across the table. |
