Trancado (previously published under the name "Ritmo de Mesa") is an independently developed mobile dominoes application. This policy applies to the Trancado app available on Apple's App Store and to the trancado.app website.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to provide a functional, competitive game experience.
Information you provide:
- The username or nickname you choose when creating an account
- Email address (for account creation and sign-in)
- Profile photo, if you choose to upload one
- Any content you include when contacting support or reporting a message
Automatically generated information:
- Game data: matches played, results, statistics, rank, and score
- Anonymous device identifiers required for the service to function
- Basic usage information (sessions, frequency of use) to improve the app
- Technical error logs for diagnostics and stability
Information we do NOT collect:
- Precise location or GPS data
- Your phone contacts
- Payment information (processed directly by Apple)
- Browsing history outside the app
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Creating and managing your game account
- Showing you your profile, statistics, rank, and match history
- Matching real-time multiplayer games
- Maintaining leaderboards and tournaments
- Diagnosing errors and improving app performance
- Sending you game-related notifications (if you have enabled them)
- Complying with applicable legal obligations
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial purposes. We may share data in the following limited cases:
- Service providers: We use Game Center (Apple) for online matches and Firebase Hosting (Google) solely to host this website. These providers operate under their own privacy policies.
- Legal requirements: If required by law or necessary to protect our legal rights.
- Public game data: Your username, rank, and match statistics are visible to other players within the app, as they are an essential part of the competitive experience.
5. Third-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:
- Google Firebase Hosting — hosting for this website; it does not store game matches or messages
- Apple App Store — app distribution and in-app purchase processing
6. Data Retention
We keep your information while your account is active. Table messages are transmitted as Apple Game Center exchanges, may remain active for roughly one day, and are not stored in any chat database operated by Trancado. Reports sent by email may be kept for as long as reasonably needed to review them. If you delete your account, we will erase your personal data within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Anonymized usage data and game statistics may be retained for aggregate analysis.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and authentication of online matches through Game Center. However, no system is completely infallible.
8. Children's Privacy
Trancado is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, contact us at info@trancado.app and we will take steps to delete that information.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights over your personal information:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Object to or restrict certain uses of your information
- Data portability, where applicable

10. Push Notifications
Apple Game Center may send you push notifications to alert you about your turn or a new table message. Chat notifications do not include the message text. You can disable these notifications at any time in your iOS device settings.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and, if the changes are significant, notify you within the app. Continued use of Trancado after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
